Photography & Social Media Consent Policy

This Photography & Social Media Consent Policy explains how Picture Perfect Scrabble may use photographs of completed products for marketing and promotional purposes.

This policy is designed to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR"), the Data Protection Act 2018 and other applicable Irish and European data protection laws.

Where a product does not contain personal photographs, identifiable personal information or personal data, Picture Perfect Scrabble may photograph and share images of the finished product for marketing and promotional purposes.

Some products may contain photographs, names, messages or other personal information that could identify an individual.

In these circumstances, Picture Perfect Scrabble will only use images of the finished product for marketing purposes where the customer has provided their explicit consent.

Customers will be given the opportunity during the ordering process to consent to the use of their completed product for promotional purposes, or to decline consent.

Consent is entirely voluntary and choosing not to provide consent will not affect the processing or fulfilment of an order.

Where consent has been provided, customers may withdraw their consent at any time by contacting Picture Perfect Scrabble.

Upon receiving a withdrawal request, we will make reasonable efforts to remove the relevant content from platforms and marketing materials under our control within a reasonable timeframe.

Please note that withdrawal of consent will not affect any lawful use of the content that occurred before consent was withdrawn.

Picture Perfect Scrabble will never intentionally publish:

without the customer's explicit consent or where otherwise required by law.

Where a completed product contains personal data, the legal basis for processing and publication of that content for marketing purposes is the customer's consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Where a completed product does not contain personal data, Picture Perfect Scrabble may rely on its legitimate business interests to promote its products and services.
