This Shipping, Delivery, Returns & Refunds Policy applies to all purchases made through the Picture Perfect Scrabble website and should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Nothing within this policy affects your statutory rights under Irish or European consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2022.
Shipping & Delivery
Handmade & Personalised Products
Picture Perfect Scrabble specialises in handmade and personalised products which are made to order.
As each item is individually created, production times may vary throughout the year.
Processing Times
- Personalised frames typically require 5–10 working days for production before dispatch.
- Prints, cards and selected products may have shorter processing times.
- During busy periods including Christmas, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Valentine's Day and other seasonal events, production times may be longer than normal.
Production times are estimates only and may occasionally vary.
Delivery
Once your order has been dispatched, delivery times will depend on the delivery service selected and the destination address.
Picture Perfect Scrabble is not responsible for delays caused by:
- Courier services
- Customs procedures
- Adverse weather conditions
- Industrial action
- Incorrect delivery information supplied by the customer
- Circumstances outside our reasonable control
Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery.
Order Accuracy
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all personalisation details submitted with an order are accurate, including:
- Names
- Dates
- Spellings
- Messages
- Uploaded photographs
- Delivery details
Please carefully review all information before completing your purchase.
Picture Perfect Scrabble cannot accept responsibility for errors provided by the customer during the ordering process.
Right to Cancel
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and related EU consumer protection legislation, consumers generally have a 14-day right to cancel distance purchases.
However, this right does not apply to goods that are personalised, customised or made to the consumer's specifications.
As the majority of Picture Perfect Scrabble products are personalised and handmade to order, the statutory cancellation period will generally not apply once production has commenced.
If you need to amend or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. While we will do our best to assist, changes may not be possible once work has begun.
Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives:
- Damaged during transit
- Faulty
- Defective
- Significantly different from the approved order details
please contact us as soon as reasonably possible after receiving your order.
To assist with the assessment of your claim, we may request:
- Photographs of the item
- Photographs of packaging
- Details of the issue experienced
In accordance with Irish consumer law, customers may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund where goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.
Returns
Because most Picture Perfect Scrabble products are personalised and made specifically for individual customers, returns are generally not accepted unless:
- The item is faulty;
- The item arrives damaged; or
- The item is not as described.
Any approved return must be authorised by Picture Perfect Scrabble before being sent back.
Refunds
Refunds, replacements and other remedies are assessed on a case-by-case basis and in accordance with applicable Irish and EU consumer protection legislation.
Where a refund is approved:
- It will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
Where appropriate, we may offer a replacement product before issuing a refund.
Lost or Delayed Deliveries
If your order has not arrived within a reasonable period after dispatch, please contact us and we will assist in investigating the delivery with the relevant courier.
